I worked with the epically talented director (he requests I say that) to create this previs to work out the timing of toy action and choreographed lighting changes. I had a great head start with sketch-up files from the art department which ensured that all the setups were accurate to what would be on set.

This might be some of the finest viewport 2.0 work I’ve ever done. Plus, how often do you get to do diagonal wipe transitions?

I also created tech-vis outputs for each shot to make setups easy to recreate on the shoot day.
